Mary Raine was a very interesting woman.

Did you know that Mary Raine was born the eldest of 13 children in 1877? She was an astute business woman and visionary who donated her substantial estate towards medical research.

This sculpture was a one off commissioned unique piece for the University of Western Australia created with the use of only one black and white photograph.
